Description:

One Christmas a friend gave me an Amaryllis bulb which bloomed beautifully at Christmas. I placed it with a begonia, also a gift, and some other plants in a sunny corner. The plants, beautiful in themselves, evoked precious memories of my friends on a very special day and painted them.
